  TSIAA Tournaments, 5/5-5/10 Elementary Fun Day, 5/9 Just a quick reminder that the Walkathon Elementary Fun Day has been changed to tomorrow, May 9th. So if your preschooler through 6th grader raised $50, they will be able to participate in the 2 hour carnival and if they raised $100, they will be allowed to participate in the fun for 4 hours. Which means they should sleep really really well Friday night and let you sleep in on Saturday. Maybe. Unless they're anything like I was growing up. I didn't start sleeping through the night until I was eleven...Yes. I, too, wonder how I survived to adulthood. Merit Day, 5/13 If your 7th-11th grader comes home and says that they don't have to go to school on the 13th of next week, they may be telling the truth. If your 7th-11th grader has less  than 10 demerits for the 2nd semester, they do not have to attend school on the 13th.  So if they're close, you can use that as a motivational tool to keep them super focused.
