Voucher Time 5/15 12:00 noon

No, it is not Thursday. No I have not lost my mind (fooled you!), and no. I'm not trying to rush things. Just wanted to send out this week's Parent Page today (Wednesday) to give everyone a quick reminder that...

Tomorrow is the day the EFS applications roll-out. 12:00 noon is the time, so please, have all your documents uploaded and stored on your computer for ease of access because as soon as the clock tolls 12, things may get congested and a little bit laggish. Good luck and we wish you the best.

Oh yea. Here's the link.

So Many Things, 5/17-5/23

I apologize in advance for the length of this week's Parent Page. It's a whopper but I'm positive you want to know all the things so I'll try my hardest to use bullet points to help navigate upcoming activities.
  • 5/17 - MS Awards, 6:00 pm church auditorium
  • 5/19 - 6th Grade Banquet & Graduation, 6:00
  • 5/20 - K5 Play, Graduation, and Elementary Awards (1st-5th grades), 6:00 church auditorium
  • 5/21 - Baccalaureate, 7:00 pm, speaker - Pastor Dave Delaney
  • 5/22 - Last day of school, dismissal at 11:30
  • 5/22 - Gala, 5:45 pm Embassy Suites (tickets on sale in high school office),  speaker - Pastor Dean Miller
  • 5/23 - Commencement, 6:00 pm, church auditorium, speaker - Pastor Dean Miller
Did you get that? Now for the words and a little explanation just in case you want more details. *clears throat*
  • 5/17 - MS Awards - this is for any student that was involved with a MS sport or event like MS handbells/choir. This will also include awards for Fine Arts for 6th-8th grade students.
  • 5/19 - 6th Grade Banquet & Graduation - banquet is for students and parents. This begins at 6:00 pm with a meal and you do need tickets. The money goes directly to the teacher. Family members may join after the banquet for the graduation ceremony. No ticket required for this. This should begin around 7:30 pm
  • 5/20 - K5 Play & Graduation and Elementary Awards - pretty self explanatory here.
I think that covers the frequently asked questions. I'm fairly confident everything else is pretty self-explanatory, but hey. If it's not, give us a call and we will try to answer the questions we did not cover.

Exams, 5/19-5/22

Can you believe it? We are so close to the end of the year that we're talking about exams. I don't know about you, but that just thrills my little soul. Not going to lie, as much as I love my job, I sure do look forward to summer vacation. There's just something about being able to pack up and visit the beach for a week or weekend. So relaxing!

Here's the 2025 2nd Semester Exam schedule for your viewing pleasure and planning purposes.

Lost & Found, 5/19-5/22

The entire last week of school will be dedicated to lost & found. This is your last chance to recover some of those lost items that you may have been looking around the house for. That one sock that has been MIA for 6 months. Your favorite little tupperware bowl that you have had in your family for years. It might be here. The shoes? Oh the shoes. If you're missing them, you'll want to swing by early Monday morning to reclaim them.

Last Day of School, 5/22

Did you read that title? Can you believe it or is your head still turning in quick little circles? The last day of school is a half day. Dismissal is at 11:30. There will be no lunch. There will be no late stay. And at 12:00 there will be no one left on campus except for the super dedicated.

Enjoy your summer.

Summer Hours

Only a few more days to go and summer will officially begin. But if you need us through the summer, someone will be in the office from 9-1. Before or after that we cannot vouch for.

I didn't see very many wet eyes Monday morning, I didn't hear screaming and gnashing of teeth (yes, I'm talking about parents), and I didn't have a bunch of kiddos in my office asking for medicine at 8:05. I'd say that was a win win and another win for the start of a new school year! But, as with anything new, it can take just a little bit to settle into a routine. And ...
