Hey did you hear.... ...that our Varsity Baseball team has won their first  ever Baseball Championship Monday night? As in, they beat Pleasantview 14 - 0. Which is awesome and wonderful and so much fun. What a great game!  MVP was Parker Applegate All-Tournament was Judson Bjornstad, Caden Davenport, and Hunter Althaus. What an excellent way to end the Davenport and Althaus student career here at FRCS. We're proud of you all! And Just Like That... ...another year is done. If we were to measure our lives like chapters in a book, I guess we could say another chapter has ended. For some, this was the very last chapter of their high school career. For others, you have a little further to go, and still others, mom and dad, breathe a sigh of relief because it's not yet your turn to watch them leave the nest. So enjoy every moment God has gifted you with. These are precious moments indeed. I've said it before. This time of year is always hard for me. It's exciting to watch the

Baseball 5/12, home, 5:00 pm End of the Year I've been saying the same thing for a few weeks, but yea, we're down to single digits before we officially begin summer vacation. That's if you're not a Senior. That particular group of students have been very eager to tell me repeatedly  that 'today is my last day' or 'this is the last time you'll see me, Mrs. Stephan,' or my particular favorite, 'you're going to miss me aren't you' which they very well know that yes, I'm going to miss them. Terribly. As in really really bad. I think they like to see me cry. Hmm. But the good news is, I have the rest of the students for another couple of days. And boy are those days full of fun things like awards ceremonies, exams, exam passes if they got one, and lots of good things. Things that won't be repeated until next year.  The gist of the whole thing is you're almost done with this school year. So finish strong. Get all the things done

This is the part of the year when everything seems to speed up to warp speed. As in, the weeks are so full that you simply cannot fit anything else into them. Mother's Day? I'm just going to take a chance and say that what most moms want for Mother's Day is another day between Saturday and Sunday. That'd be great. But probably not going to happen. If I put that in my empty promises agenda and ran for President, would you vote for me? One thing we definitely want to do is thank each and every one of you who participated in this year's Walkathon

Just a thought.   And for those of you who like to be extra prepared and ready, please enjoy the exam schedule below: Thank You We know
