Basketball 2/27-3/1 - TACS Varsity Basketball Tournament Parent Page Podcast Brownie Sundae Sale on Friday, 2/28 Not sure if you noticed or not with all those wonderful, I mean, erm, rotten, snow days we had off, the seniors were supposed to be selling their brownie sundaes on Friday. Obviously, that didn't happen. So it's going to happen this Friday. Which is tomorrow. No. I'm not trying to insult your intelligence. I'm just reminding myself to bring my $2 so I, too, may indulge in an ooey gooey yummilicious brownie sundae treat. Because I feel I have earned it. Plus I have new elastic waisted dresses that I'm going to try out. ;) Lost & Found Sale, 2/26-2/28 We're right smack dab in the middle of the lost & found sale of this month. So if you haven't seen that one shoe or that bookbag in a bit, you want to look at the tables before everything is cleared out on Friday. Everything's $1. Open Enrollment, 3/1 Two very special things will be happe...

Basketball 2/24-2/25 - TACS MS Regional Basketball Tournament 2/21 - VG, Home, South Haven, 5:00 2/21 - VB, Home, South Haven, 6:30   Parent Page Podcast   Lost & Found Sale, 2/26-2/28 To avoid terrorizing small children who pass by the bins, we will be having a lost & found sale next Wednesday through Friday. So if you've misplaced something, or maybe haven't seen your favorite pair of socks or hairbow in a while, you may want to dig through before the sale. That's when it's free to reclaim. Once it hits the tables, you know what happens.  If you love a good sale where everything is only $1, you'll want to stop by and peruse the items. I'm sure there are a few who, like me, thought we were beginning spring a little early this year. Then the weather decided we'd had enough beautiful days and threw a hissy weather fit. Yes. It's a real thing.  If your student is coughing, sneezing, wheezing, or complaining that they aren't feeling we...

Enrollment Now Open The day your friends have been waiting for is finally here. Tomorrow, enrollment opens to the general public so if you haven't paid registration fees yet and intend to, do not wait. Please. I beg you. Tomorrow may be too late... End of 3rd Quarter, 3/8 Next Friday is the end of the 3rd quarter. Which means that Monday all students should see a light at the end of their tunnel. Whether that light is a good thing or a train light remains to be determined. Please don't delay. Get your missing assignments, quizzes, and tests completed and turned in. No one wants a 0. Those don't help grades. Sportsman's Night, 3/9 Are you looking for something different to share with your family? Are you tired of going to the same things over and over? When you think of Chuck E. Cheese, does it make you shudder and grimace?  I have good news. Join us Saturday, March 9th for our annual Sportsman's Night with Chad and Marsha Shearer and get a chance to win some pr...

Lunch Menu (Orders due by 11:59, 2/28) 2/25 Franklin Christian, Away, MSG - 6, MSB - 7 2/25-2/27 Varsity State Basketball Tournament, TBD  2/26 Lancaster, Home, MSG - 5, MSB - 6 3/4-3/5 JV Regional Tournament, Fairview, Away, TBD Did You Get It?  Last week was epic. Truly epic. Every single day, enjoyable beyond compare. Beautiful snow, sleds, snowmen, snowballs; everyone was happy. (Everyone with the possible exception of Mr. Kramer. Why do I imagine him staring out the window with a scowl while myriads of children in his neighborhood throw snowballs at one another and laugh with glee? But I digress.) Monday, we received the glorious text: Parent_Alert: FRCS K3-12, will be closed for Tuesday ...and that's pretty much where we all stopped reading. Then Tuesday happened: Parent_Alert: FRCS K3-12 will be closed for Wednesday... I thought, "For sure, we will be back on Wednesday. This can't happen again. There's no way." But sure enough, Wednesday we we...

You have to deal with games, practices, dinners, family situations, traffic, and well, just life in general. And we know that things can get pretty hectic. Sometimes even pull your hair out hectic. (I do not recommend this strategy for bald people. Actually I don't recommend it at all. It's rather painful.) So to help us all out - you, your students, the kitchen staff, me...all of us... - I highly recommend setting an alarm or reminder on your phone to put lunches in every week before Sunday night at 11:59. Yes. I sai...

Cross Country 8/16 - MS & Varsity, Siegel High, Away, 6:00  Golf 8/18 - Varsity, Merrol Hyde, Away, 3:30 Volleyball 8/18 - Varsity, Lancaster, Home, 5:00 Patience...patience...patience I don't know if you noticed it or not, but it seems like this past summer just sped by like it was on two wheels. It felt like it barely even started before it was already over. But, no use crying over the inevitable. School had to restart so right now seems like as good a time as any. So welcome back to the returning students - we missed you. School just isn't the same when y'all aren't here. And welcome to the new students - we cannot wait to make your acquaintance and get to know you better. I hope your week - and your student's week - was excellent. If it wasn't, well, I hope it was mostly good. Of course, there were some kinks along the way and that elementary secretary seemed a little scratchy at times (I'm so very sorry. I hate being scratchy and I am determined t...

Just wanted to send out this week's Parent Page today (Wednesday) to give everyone a quick reminder that... Tomorrow is the day the EFS applications roll-out. 12:00 noon is the time, so please, have all your documents uploaded and stored on your computer for ease of access because as soon as the clock tolls 12, things may get congested and a little bit laggish. Good luck and we wish you the best.  Oh yea. Here's the link. So Many Things, 5/17-5/23 I apologize in advance for the length of this week's Parent Page. It's a whopper but I'm positive you want to know all the things so I'll try my hardest to use bullet points to help navigate upcoming activities. 5/17 - MS Awards, 6:00 pm church auditorium 5/19 - 6th Grade Banquet & Graduation, 6:00 5/20 - K5 Play, Graduation, and Elementary Awards (1st-5th grades), 6:00 church ...
