Patience...patience...patience
I don't know if you noticed it or not, but it seems like this past summer just sped by like it was on two wheels. It felt like it barely even started before it was already over. But, no use crying over the inevitable. School had to restart so right now seems like as good a time as any.
So we just want to say thank you for your patience as we roll out the lumps and straighten out those kinks at dismissal. We know we mess up and we will do our best to fix any and all issues. But unfortunately, sometimes we don't realize there's an issue until, well, there's an issue. Thank you in advance for your kindness and patience as we figure out how things need to be. We appreciate it!
2025-2026 Minutemen Club
Some of you have asked if we're doing Smart Cards this year, and unfortunately, the answer is no. Instead, FRCS will be offering membership in the Minutemen Club that was rolled out last year.
This Club gives families like yours a unique opportunity to make a difference in student's classrooms across the board. 100% of the proceeds raised go toward student and classroom upgrades and enrichment.
This once per year event offers those interested in sponsorship exclusive gifts available only to those who join. All club members will be recognized on a banner in the school.

Ok so. As I'm sure you noticed in your handy dandy little July mailout packet you received, there were quite a few very colorful papers inside. If you would be so kind as to fill these papers out and return to the office as soon as possible, that would be simply amazing. Those handy dandy super fancy papers are vital to our school records. They help us make up our mind if we're going to give your student medicine or not, they give us necessary phone numbers if we need to call you, and, let's face it. Those bright happy colors look super cute on my desk. Just sayin.
So if you haven't done so already, please. I'm begging you. Return those pretty pages promptly, please. (Say that fast, 10x. Have a friend record it and send it to me so I can giggle. Thank you in advance.)
By the way. I did the math and K5-12th grades are 80% turned in already with Preschool at a cool 65%. Y'all are on the BALL! I'm proud of you. So proud. :) Now let's see if we can get them ALL turned in before October 1st.
Information Is Good
You know how I mentioned that you received the July mailout packet in the previous article? If you were one of the unlucky ones who did not receive that packet filled with pretty papers, we need to figure out why it did not grace your mailbox. So if you'd take a minute, log into Renweb and check your address, let's make sure we have the correct one on file. It's easy to let slip by, but we don't want to miss sending you things. Because you know. Getting mail in your actual mailbox is fun. Even if a little archaic.

Teen Revival, 8/19-8/21
Let's start this year off right, shall we?
August 19-21 we will be hosting our annual FRCS Teen Revival. Obviously, our goal is to touch as many hearts and lives for Christ as we possibly can and we would love to officially invite you and your 7th-12th grader to join us. We will be having Chapel Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 9:45 am and 7:00 pm in the church auditorium. Yes. We would love it if you joined us. If you can't, we completely understand. But would you please take a quick minute and pray that God touches lives and uses these kids in a way that will glorify and honor Him?

Spiritwear
One of the things about starting a new school year is the unveiling of new spiritwear. If you haven't browsed our new stuff yet, stop by the office and look through the racks. If you need a size that isn't hanging up, come let me know and I'll see what I can do. Yea. Because I know a guy...
Also! In case you haven't read it yet and you're a parent of a 7th - 12th grader, you'll probably want to look through this year's high school handbook. Pay particular attention to the part that says FRCS shirts that were purchased from us (spiritwear) will be acceptable to wear all week. Like all week. RIGHT?! How awesome is that?! So yea. Swing by the office and check out the new merch.
