Out And About FRCS
For Silly's Sake

- What does a lion use to check his hair? a mir-roar
- Why did the poodle turn on the air conditioning? so she wouldn't be a hot dog
- How do you find spider man? search the web
- What did the mama bird say when her babies hatched? flappy birthday
- What do Olympic runners use to check their email? the sprinter net
- What do swamp creatures eat for dessert? marsh mallows
- What kind of fish fixes musical instruments? a piano tuna
- Why did the baseball player leave the stadium? his coach told him to run home
- How does the ocean say hello? it doesn't. It just waves.
- Did you know that it is rumored that Attila the Hun was very short? In fact, some have said he was a dwarf. I find that extremely interesting.
- Know who else was short? Of course, Napoleon was reported to be 5'6" but Aesop and Charles III of Naples were all shorter than...three and a half feet tall! I'm definitely taller than that.
- I'm sure you're aware that our national bird is the eagle, but there was one person who wanted it to be the turkey instead. That famous person? Benjamin Franklin.
- Not only did he like turkeys, but Benjamin Franklin was an author, scientist, inventor, and publisher as well as other things. But one thing he was not allowed to do? Write the Declaration of Independence by himself. Why? Because apparently, his peers were afraid he would hide a joke in it. Kind of makes me wonder if he had, if more people would read it. Just a thought.
