Brownie Sundaes on a Friday, 9/20 $2

Everyone knows that Fridays are pretty awesome. But Fridays that have brownie sundaes in them are even better. And brownie sundaes where you don't have to clean up the mess are the best of the best of the best. (sir!)

Our senior class is bringing back the sundaes with a vengeance this year. Imagine it: a fat brownie underneath a whop of ice cream with sprinkles or chocolate syrup or cherries or whipped cream...you get the picture...for only $2.00.

So raid the couch cushions for loose change. Empty out that cup holder in your car or truck that holds all the change. You know what one I'm talking about. Seriously, if you don't, I don't want to know. Please allow me to live in my own little fantasy world where everyone who drives has a spare change cup holder. I don't have time for that kind of negativity in my life if you don't.

I mean, who knew that $2 could make you a hero? Pretty good deal, if you ask me. Now if we could get someone to host a banana split Monday, I'd be all over that. I like me some banana splits. Or, oh my word, lightening has just struck my brain...what if someone made peanut butter sundaes with that same kind of peanut butter they use at Dairy Queen?!?! Oh dear, that would be bad news indeed. I don't think I could control myself if peanut butter was involved.

Now I'm hungry. Ugh.

Fall Break, 9/26-9/27

Just a gentle reminder that Fall Break is only 4 days away (no, I'm not counting weekends. Don't be ridiculous) and there will be no school.

None.

Zero. Zilch.

In other words, your kiddos will be home with you.

***If you're planning on taking the entire week off, we won't fuss at you. We won't even give you the hairy eyeball. But we will need a note so the teacher can get the work together for them. Just send it to the office, or better yet, email me. Easy peasy!

Jr/Sr Fall Retreat, 9/26-9/28

Calling all 7th-12th graders, you are invited to join us for this year's Teen Fall Retreat in Mauckport, Indiana. Bring your Bible, notebook, pens, sleeping bag, towel, and your most favorite pillow, and be prepared to make some awesome memories. Seriously, some of the stories that come back after these things are pretty hilarious.

Bus will be leaving Thursday at 8 am and will return around 2 pm on Saturday.

No Mums.

I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this year, we will not be hosting our annual Mum sale. However, remember there are other ways you can still show your support for our school. You can link your Kroger card to your digital account, you can do the Publix thing (super easy and they have excellent buy one get one free sales), and you can show your support at Office Depot. Click the links below for details!

Teacher Favorites

And for those of you who have asked, you can click here to view this year's teacher favorites lists. Enjoy!

Just a thought.   And for those of you who like to be extra prepared and ready, please enjoy the exam schedule below: Thank You We know
