Lost & Found Sale, 3/13-3/15
I don't know how they do it but I think they're professional. They have definitely taken the lost & found bins and have stuffed them to capacity. Again. Which means, the sale will be next Wednesday through Friday. Please look through it now so I don't have to charge you $1 to buy back your own stuff. :)
Spring Concert, 3/18
Clear off your calendars, dust off your cameras, or clear off some space on your phone because spring has nearly sprung which means...let the concerts begin! Join us Monday, March 18th at 7:00 in the church auditorium for our annual FRCS Spring Concert. Doors open at 6:30 so get here early to save you and your family (maybe even a friend or two) a spot in the auditorium. What groups can you look forward to hearing? So glad you asked:
- SH Ensemble
- SH Handbell Choir
- SH Brass Quintet
- Concert Band
- MS Choir
- MS Handbell Choir
- Elementary Band
- Elementary Handbell Choir
- Elementary Choir
No School/TACS State Fine Arts Competition, 3/21-3/22
Once again. This has now been in 3 parent pages and I have received no phone calls. Which means one of two things. You have read it and understand perfectly, or you somehow missed this part. Weird. ;)
Remember:
- There will be no school for K5-2nd graders 3/21 & 3/22
- Preschool will be open and there will be late stay.
- 3rd-12th graders who ARE COMPETING are required to be in their spot at their scheduled time
- 3rd - 12th graders who ARE NOT competing are NOT required to come to school
Spring Break, 3/25-3/29
Just in case you missed it, Spring Break will be March 25-29th. School will resume April 1st (full day.) Enjoy and make some fabulous memories.

101 Random Weird Facts
- Octopuses have 3 brains, which I find fascinating. Sometimes I think we people need a couple more brains to complement the ones we already have. Perhaps we should just try to use more of what we have. I need to work on this.
- Humans have 7 neck vertebrae. So do giraffes. Moral of the fact? Don't pull too hard on your child's ears to get their attention. There's room for growth...jk
- I've read that honey never spoils. If I found honey in a cave that was supposed to be 3000 years old, I would not be the one to volunteer for the taste-test. I'll just take their word for it.
- Apparently cows have best friends and can become stressed if they're separated from their friend.
- There is a planet in the constellation 'Cancer' that is believed to be made up of diamonds. And no, there are no trips planned at this time as it's 40 light years away which is about 1.08 million years. I think your chances are better at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas.
- Next time you see a butterfly, remember that they taste with their feet before you allow them to land on your food. I mean, c'mon. Who knows where those little feet have been?!
