Thank You

The FRCS Cheerleaders, and Miss Harris, would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made their bake sale a success - you all are a big blessing and they (us too) appreciate each of you.

Did you not make it but now you regret your choices because there's only a little time before those pesky New's Year resolutions to lose weight? Well loosen your belts - I'm sure you can fit more in - because there's more delectable items just waiting for you to snatch them up after tonight's performances.

Christmas Project - Last Day 12/15

Each year FRCS raises to money to go toward a special project. This year, it is our desire to help B&L Foundation in Shelbyville purchase paper to print Bibles. As an added bonus, hopefully, our upper classes will be able to visit and collate Bibles as well. Talk about a hands' on experience! It really is interesting and fun when you get to see the entire process of printing and putting Bibles together.

Scan the QR code for more information. Last day to donate will be December 15th.

Merit Day, 12/14

If your student came home and said they don't have school on Thursday the 14th, they really might not be pulling your leg. Merit Day is a reward for all those 7th-12th graders who have less than 10 demerits and get the day off of school. Enjoy!

Exams, 12/18-12/21

Do you shudder when you see the word 'exams' or do you want to jump for joy because the school year is nearly half over? Whichever way you look at it, exams will be December 18th - December 21st. Check out the schedule above and study study study. You got this.

Special Chapel Services, 12/21

We would love to have you join us for our special chapel services December 21st in the church auditorium. From 9:20-10:00, it is a really fun place to be. As in really fun. It's the perfect way to kick off the Christmas parties that will be happening right afterward.

Sports Corner

We just want to take a minute and congratulate our boys and girls varsity basketball players for a job well done in last week's tournament. Girls took 1st place and boys came in 2nd with Noah Pence scoring his 1000th point!

Spirit of Christmas, 12/10

FRBC will be having their annual Spirit of Christmas celebration December 10th at 10:30 am in the church auditorium. Come by and be blessed.

Coming Up Next...

I didn't see very many wet eyes Monday morning, I didn't hear screaming and gnashing of teeth (yes, I'm talking about parents), and I didn't have a bunch of kiddos in my office asking for medicine at 8:05. I'd say that was a win win and another win for the start of a new school year! But, as with anything new, it can take just a little bit to settle into a routine. And ...
