Christmas Project = Success!

If you didn't make it to Christmas Chapel, you really missed out on a great time. As you can see, this is one of the most exciting times of the school year. Congratulations to the B&L Foundation of Shelbyville, we were able to raise $15,105.47 to go toward purchasing paper to print Bibles. And thank you to everyone who came out for the Pink Out for Mrs. Kramer. Your encouragement was felt and appreciated.

Spirit Week, 1/8-1/12

School will resume January 8th and it will be a full day full of school spirit, and boy, do the cheerleaders have a great week lined up for you!

  • Monday - Mascot Monday (sports theme such as - Biff the Wolverine, Sparty, or, (ew) Brutus the Badger, or maybe even Bevo. Bevo's pretty cool.)
  • Tuesday - Travel Tuesday - travel around the world
  • Wednesday - Wacky Tacky Day - I feel this is pretty self-explanatory
  • Thursday - Group Character Day - think Thing One or Thing Two, or the Peanuts gang. Things like that.
  • Friday - Black and Gold Day

Homecoming, 1/13

Join us on Saturday, January 13th and visit the Enchanted Garden as we welcome the 2024 Homecoming Queen and say goodbye to our Seniors who only have a few short months left of their high school careers. What a bittersweet time!

Re-enrollment Begins

As if this year wasn't flying by fast enough, let's just go ahead and talk about re-enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year. Yes. It's that time again.

  • January 1st - Preschool open enrollment begins
  • February 1-14 is priority enrollment for current school families
  • February 15-29 enrollment opens for siblings of current school students who are not currently enrolled
  • March 1st - enrollment opens to the community

Now that you have the dates, here's the super important stuff. We will not assume that you want to re-enroll even if you fill out the re-enrollment application. We won't save a spot unless we receive your registration fee of $400.

Please don't put this off. Every year someone loses their spot because they didn't get their money in on time and it seriously wrecks my day. We don't want that.

Coming Up Next...

  • 1/8 - School resumes - Full Day
  • 1/8-1/12 - Spirit Week
  • 1/13 - Homecoming
  • 1/15 - No School
  • 1/16-1/17 - Spring Portraits

I didn't see very many wet eyes Monday morning, I didn't hear screaming and gnashing of teeth (yes, I'm talking about parents), and I didn't have a bunch of kiddos in my office asking for medicine at 8:05. I'd say that was a win win and another win for the start of a new school year! But, as with anything new, it can take just a little bit to settle into a routine. And ...
